Infusion of Style Infuse, the October 2009 Club Template release, is an infusion of artistic flair and functionality. The theme boasts six, individual and unique, style variations, meticulously constructed to perfection.

To preview a different style variation, please select one of the six options from the Preset Styles menu item above.
Extensions Integration Themes are an important part of any Joomla site, but so are the extensions. Therefore, many of our RocketTheme Extensions have template specific styling to match the Infuse design such as RokTabs.

We also have basic style support for the 3rd party component, K2, by JoomlaWorks.
Optimised Layout Search Engine Optimisation is a major goal of any website, and Infuse provides a helping hand in this endeavour. The layout of the template places, from a code perspective, the main column before that of the left and right, meaning it is crawled by Google first.

This has been our standard framework since April 2009.

Let's Talk Politics::News, Blogs, Debates, Humor, & More!

About Us

About Us

LetsTalkPolitics.Org is a political discussion website dedicated to providing a bipartisan environment where members can debate with others about current events and controversial issues such as abortion, gay rights, the War on Terror, etc. In today’s political world, both Republicans and Democrats can be very one sided and it is very hard to be inclusive of both sides of the aisle. Lets Talk Politics wants to achieve just that. We promote an atmosphere of inclusiveness of both Republican and Democratic ideologies.

About the Founder

My name is Mr. Politics. I am an aspiring political science and history major.  I am a politics junkie (in case you didn’t notice). I like to argue with anyone about almost anything. I am a Democrat leaning towards the liberal side.  I think that compromise is the best solution to things in politics. It is 110% obvious that neither side will abandon their beliefs because one side made such a persuasive argument. You will never see Democrats say “Oh, I guess government spending is a bad thing, Tax cuts for all!” and you will never see Republicans say, “I guess abortion is a good thing so lets make it legal for all!”  That is why compromise, I think is the solution to the partisan bickering.

History of LTP & How We Got Started

As the primary season of the 2008 presidential elections have come to a close with at the time Democratic candidate Senator Obama emerged as the victor, and the general election coming up quickly against Republican candidate John McCain, I began to understand how deep and complex our problems were. I also saw how Republicans and Democrats were constantly at each other’s throats. I knew this was the case in 2004, but it didn’t affect me as heavily the 2008 election has.  As I searched online to find what people are saying about this, I found sites that were solely dedicated to one party. There was a rush of partisan opinions making out each side to be horrible anti-American people without any tangible facts or rebuttal from the other side.

On October 30th 2008 Lets Talk Politics Forum’s were setup.  Thinking back about it now, I realize how funny my initial setup was. I had about 20 boards for every topic out there.  I soon figured out that it was an ineffective way of facilitating discussion so I rearranged the boards to a much fewer number. I think you will find them easy to navigate.

In January of 2009, I introduced our blogging component as the home page.

On January 27th 2010, after President Obama's first State of the Union Address, LetsTalkPolitics relaunched with a refreshed vision and higher quality content.

This is the history of LetsTalkPolitics.org. This is a very open and honest website. I certainly hope you decide to become an active and dedicated part of our growing community.

Cheers,

~Mr. Politics
